Description
The Hampton Falls Heritage Commission was established in March 2008.  Its purpose is to recognize and protect our town’s resources that are valued for their historic, cultural, aesthetic, or community significance.

If you are concerned about our heritage, want to learn about our
town’s history and development, please consider joining us to help
with our historic building survey, aid in organizing our data and
educate the public.

Contact the Chairman or the Secretary if you are willing to help.

The Heritage Commission is charged with conducting an historic property survey for the town.

Other current concerns of the Commission include the Tilton-Elkins-Merrill Homestead and Barn at the junction of Route 84 and Route 1, the cemetery headstones, the 1835 Greek Revival building at 45 Exeter Road, the 1877 Town Hall and the 1838 Greek Revival Church at 143 Exeter Road that is on the National Register.
